1. Learns about the politics of India along with constitutional structures and institutions.
2. Enriches the knowledge of students about western political thinkers of the ancient and medieval period.

4. To develop and be able to demonstrate skills in conducting as well as presenting research in political science

Samyukta Maharashtra Movement (SEC) • This Course is an introduction to the political process in Maharashtra with special reference to regionalism sub-regionalism and Samyukta Maharashtra Movement.
• The aim of the course is that students are expected to understand both the historical evolution of Maharashtra’s politics and different analyses of politics of the state.
• It tries to acquaint students with the main issues and concerns in the public life of a regional society as it shaped in the concept of colonialism, nationalism and modernity.
